Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager will lead strategic sales initiatives within a designated vertical market, with a preference for candidates experienced in healthcare and medical market development. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through targeted solution selling while managing a team of Vertical Key Account Managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B technical solution sales, sales management, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building key relationships, and driving business growth in industry-specific markets.

Essential Job Functions (include, but are not limited to the following):

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on specific vertical markets. Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the targeted vertical markets.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies and drive cohesive efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the targeted verticals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Lead the sales team in executing sales plans and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize CRM tools and other sales technologies to manage sales activities and generate reports.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address any performance gaps or issues.

Education: 
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
Experience:
  • Experience in Embedded technology, or Medical, Healthcare relevant industries.
  • Proven track record of leading sales team to achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proven experience in sales management, preferably within specific vertical markets.
  • Strong understanding of the targeted vertical markets and the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Salary: $150,000 based on the individual's skills, qualifications, experience, job grade and geographic location - this is a remote position.
