The Human Resources Coordinator is office-based.
We are looking for an HR Coordinator who likes keeping things in order and making work easier for others. This role is about handling the day-to-day details and helping with the employee journey from preparing new hire paperwork and getting people started, to keeping records up to date and lending a hand with benefits and compliance. The work may be behind the scenes, but it makes a real difference for our employees. If you care about getting the details right, are open to learning, and bring a steady, helpful attitude, you will be a great fit.
What will you do:
Be the steady support for the HR team and employees, handling the day-to-day tasks that keep everything running smoothly
- Welcome new hires and support departures by preparing documents, scheduling sessions, and making sure all the little details are taken care of
- Be a friendly point of contact for routine HR questions and help guide employees to the right resources
- Keep our HR systems (Rippling, JazzHR, etc.) up to date so records are always accurate and reliable
- Lend a hand with benefits by answering simple questions, helping with enrollments, and coordinating with carriers when needed
- Keep HR files organized and compliance documentation in good order
- Assist with audits (ISO, benefits, 401(k), payroll, personnel files, etc.) by gathering data, preparing files, and following instructions from HR leadership
- Pull together reports and double-check data so HR information is accurate and ready when needed
- Take care of expense reports for the HR department and the CEO, making sure they are submitted accurately and on time
- Help coordinate meetings, training sessions, and HR events that bring people together
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related support role
- Reliable, professional, and committed to following through on assignments and deadlines
- Team-oriented, approachable, and respectful of direction — eager to contribute without needing the spotlight
- Positive, can-do attitude that looks for solutions and focuses on getting the work done, not just talking about it
- Good communication skills with judgment on when to use email, chat, or in-person support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized with multiple tasks
- Comfortable using HR systems such as Rippling, JazzHR, or similar; SAP Concur experience a plus
- A little bit tech savvy, comfortable with systems and tools, and willing to figure things out rather than waiting for answers
Benefits:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
- Life, AD&D, Short Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability insurance.
- 401k retirement plan
- HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA
- Vacation and Sick Leave.
- Paid holidays
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear; and doing things such as analytical work or reports, which requires focus, while utilizing a computer.
- Must be able to operate general office equipment.
- Physical stamina to stand, reach, bend, lift, grasp, and kneel.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
