Essential Job Functions (include, but are not limited to the following):
Responsibilities:
•    Lead all aspects of schematic design, including reviewing layouts, exporting Bill of Materials (BOM), conducting prototype bring-up, and troubleshooting issues throughout the development process.
•    Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment, engaging with teams specializing in signal integrity, power integrity, New Product Introduction (NPI), reliability, and certification.
•    Define component specifications and establish the system architecture to meet project requirements.
•    Translate customer needs and requirements into detailed engineering specifications, ensuring the development of a viable and high-quality product.
•    Maintain and support the existing standard/ODM product line, ensuring its ongoing sustainability, and promptly address any production issues as they arise.

Education:
•    Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. In lieu of a degree, 4 or more relevant experience may suffice. 
Experience:
•    Minimum of 4 years of experience in x86/ARM based design is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
•    Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written is essential.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in designing with high-speed signals, including PCIe Gen 4/5, DDR5, and USB 4, along with experience in signal integrity simulation, is highly desirable.
•    Strong understanding of reliability requirements and the impact of engineering design choices on the production process.
•    Experience in designing for challenging environments such as extended temperature (-40°C to +85°C) and high mechanical stresses.
•    Familiarity with industry standards such as COM Express Module, SMARC, or NVIDIA Jetson NX/AGX platform is highly desirable.
•    Proficiency in OrCAD schematic capture and Allegro PCB layout is required.

•    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Our base pay range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $120,000 a year. Multiple factors are considered in determining base pay including an individual’s skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
